Hi Everyone, Gabriel and Tony are starting to pack up tonight as we move on up to the Washington area and over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge--sounds like that will be an adventure. We're now starting to position ourselves to be at Ocean City on Sunday evening.

Now have 1260 miles pedaled --140 to go.  Always seems kind of scary and slow when you are getting close! Much of tomorrow will be on interstates so we have to look and search for places to pedal. However, my feet will be flying as we heard from the Wahoo Chamber of Commerce that the scholarship donations total almost $4,400. That means the scholarships are funded for the next four years plus so that is wonderful news. I want to personally thank every one of you for your donations and comments you have added. It makes me feel good to hear from you--it gets kind of lonesome out on the road all day and your involvement gives me the warm fuzzies! It's fun to read your names on their list!  As more come in, it extends our dream to keep these scholarships going on and on! The seeds for the scholarship idea have been planted and we are already having inquiries as to how they can be started in other places and in conjunction with other programs.

I'm tired but doing well--after 20 straight days of pedaling, I'm sure I have my bicycle seat imprinted you know where. It's been difficult to "keep pedaling" to hit the magic number 1400 but I am focused and determined. Today was a difficult day to keep going but after reading and hearing from so many of you, tomorrow will be easier.

Bye for now--Love, Patricia
