Hi Everyone--We're still here in Richmond in our "hold" pattern so I had another day of pedal bliss---not the hard work--the area to do it in. I pedaled 72 miles today so with the 83 yesterday, that's 155 miles in two days. Today was a struggle--many times I have to encourage Gabriel to "just do it". We Midwesterners know many times that is the only option. That's how I felt today but did accomplish the deed. The weather is still gorgeous--how could we be so lucky. A few trees are starting to turn and there is one maple along my bicycle path that looks like a flaming orange torch--it's incredible!

Gabriel spent most of the day on the phone. So much coordination is needed now to get us positioned correctly for the entrance into Atlantic City. I have now pedaled 1206 miles so hit another milestone. Someone said we are about 300 miles away so we need to balance each day now to get the remaining pedaling in and to move ourselves forward. We have water to cross also and are absolutely ignorant about the ferries etc. so have a lot to learn. We don't want to be stuck on the wrong shore and have the parade take off without us!

We still think about the tremendous send off from Wahoo and all the wonderful people we've met along the way. I'm so happy that my cousins were a part of our journey--Robe and Donna and daughter Robin in Wahoo, Emin in Wahoo, Howard and Ann who traveled two hours to see us in Atchison, KS and the well wishes they brought with from Larry and Laurel who were already committed for the afternoon. We surely appreciate the family support.

Gabriel made another trip to the "Computer Geeks" this morning so hopefully he can get some of his pictures on the way to Tom so they can be put on the website. Time for bed--Love, Patricia

A Special Note to the web Master In Santa Barbara, Thanks to Tom  Locashio the computer Web master for the good work on the web sight! I Will flood him with photos tomorrow.
