Hi Everyone--The only way I know
it's Monday is the football game blaring in the background.
Pretty soon, every day starts to look the same when you're on
the road from morning until night. Today, however, was
especially exciting as we hit the 85 mark for miles pedaled;
and, the last ten miles were in the rain.
A big storm coming out of St. Louis was threatening all day but only caught us about 5:30 so we were very lucky. We also found a highway with great shoulders today so that enabled us to get some good mileage which we desperately needed. Total mileage is now 672 so tomorrow we will reach half-way and tip in the other direction now! My new odometer is finally working correctly and just in time as Nancy had to leave this morning and she has been counting miles for us.
Had a chance to talk to Pinky on his
radio show again today--I miss him on the weekends! When I went
to McDonald's this morning the employees were so excited as they
had seen me on TV last night. Today was tough--time for bed!
